Nike+ Running App Arrives On Android, iOS Gets A Major Update


Nike released its popular Nike+ Running app on Android yesterday, and issued a major update to iOS, which includes the usual bugfixes and a major UI overhaul.

We’ve talked about Nike+ before, and while we don’t love it quite as much as we love RunKeeper, it’s still a solid fitness-tracking app. The new Nike+ 4.0 update comes with Facebook integration for sharing run data with your friends and the ability to start a run from anywhere in the app, as well as comparing your last run with previous ones. There’s also a brand new feature called “shoe tagging” that lets you track your shoes’ mileage and find out when it’s time to buy a new pair.
