Fix A Shrunken Shirt With Warm Water And Hair Conditioner

If you’ve accidentally shrunk a shirt or other piece of clothing in the wash, there’s a quick fix: soak it in warm water and hair conditioner, then stretch it back out to its proper size.

Redditor FawmahRhoDyelindah found that wearing it in the shower with warm water and pulling on it worked well, but oberstofsunshine posted a comment to share a potentially better solution:

Soak the garment in hot water and hair conditioner for 5 minutes and then stretch it back to size. It works much better.

Either way, hot water seems to be the common denominator when it comes to shirt-shrinking issues. Have you tried anything like this? Let us know your experiences in the comments.
