Evernote For Android Gets New Features

Android: Evernote has given its Android app a complete makeover. The updates are not only visually appealing, they also make using the note-taking app on tiny devices much easier.

The new home screen features large buttons for creating different types of notes, easy access to your account (via the username at the top), and options to take you directly to all of your notes, notebooks and notes by tags or places. The best thing about it is you can quickly jump back to the home screen by swiping left or right or tapping the elephant. Horizontal swiping now quickly moves you through notes too.

A new action bar at the bottom of the app gives you controls based on the screen you’re on. In the notes and notebook lists, for example, you’ve got notes sorting options and different notes views.

Evernote now adds a place to each note you make if you have location services turned on for your device. You can then see your notes on a map.

There are several other useful enhancements, like the navigation disappearing when you start scrolling in a note to give you a full-screen reading view.

Download Evernote on Google Play or update it to start enjoying this impressive update today.
