‘Work Only For People You Like’

“Work only for people you like. A sense of commonality is essential. Without that, disaster.”

This quote comes from famous graphic designer Milton Glaser and is pretty self-explanatory. In his work, he clearly found a substantial benefit from working for people he likes. I’ve been fortunate enough to always work for people I liked, but that didn’t always mean the job was great (though it certainly helped). What about you? What’s the most important factor when you’re choosing a place to work?
