Comprehensive travel search engine rome2rio has introduced a stack of enhancements, including train systems and carbon impact calculations, since it launched in April last year. We’re big fans of its latest addition: detailed bus route information for Sydney, Melbourne, Perth and Adelaide.
The main aim of rome2rio remains offering you a range of choices (including flying, cars, trains and buses) when planning an overseas holiday. However, the addition of bus information means it could also be useful for purely local journeys, especially since Australian public transport bodies remain uber-slack when it comes to Google Maps integration. rome2rio doesn’t offer direct timetable information, but does show service frequency for the routes it covers.
