Pomodroido Is An Elegant Pomodoro Timer For Your Android Phone

Android: If you’re a fan of the Pomodoro productivity technique, you know that part of the philosophy is to work in short, focused, timed bursts, and then take periodic breaks to relax. To do this, you’ll need a timer, and Pomodroido is a free app that turns your Android phone into one that follows you everywhere.

Unlike standard timers, you don’t need to program Pomodroido with the amount of time you’d like to work and how long your breaks should be. Just tap start and the app will start a work session, alert you when it’s time to take a break, and then alert you again when it’s time to start working again. The app does all of this without your help, so you can focus on the task at hand, without being distracted by the timer. The app has a simple levelling system that awards you points and levels as you finish each work session.

The developer behind the app promises that future versions of the tool will integrate a to-do manager, achievements and analytics, so you can see how you use the app. Pomodroido is completely free, but if you like the app, you can spend $3 for the “pro” version, which supports the developer and integrates nicely with Tasker.
