OK, there are still no prices or an exact release date, but Nokia has confirmed that the Lumia 800 will go on sale through Optus, Telstra and Vodafone in March.
It seems safe to assume that this will end up being primarily sold as a contract device, with no extra handset charges if you go for the second-cheapest plan, since that’s what happens with virtually every new phone these days. But until Nokia or the carriers cough up further details, that’s all we know (and I suspect that information is out there to make people contemplating the new phone announced at Mobile World Congress at the end of February pause for thought).
