A lesser-known feature of the recent Twitter update is the ability to embed individual tweets on your site. Here’s how to do it.
Embedding is straightforward once you know how to permanently link to a tweet. At the bottom of any individual tweet permalink page there’s now an ‘Embed this tweet’ link. Click on that and you’ll get HTML embedding code.
The embedded Tweet will automatically show pictures hosted on Twitter and YouTube videos, but not from other sources:
