Amazon App Makes Sending Documents To Your Kindle Easy

Windows: Amazon’s new Send to Kindle utility is a shell extension that allows you to quickly send one or multiple documents to your Kindle device or library to read on your ereader, or just for safe keeping. The utility also adds a virtual printer to Windows so you can click Print and then “Send to Kindle” in any application to automatically generate a PDF and send web pages or files you’re working with to your Kindle library.

Once installed, Send to Kindle allows you to print or right-click even multiple documents to upload them to your Kindle library. If the document is supported, the tool will retain your last page read, bookmarks, notes and annotations, and highlights for view on your Kindle ereader or tablet. When a document is uploaded to your Kindle library, it’s then available on all Kindle devices associated with your account, and you can re-download is on any other system when you need it.

Send to Kindle is currently Windows only, but Amazon says a Mac OS version is on the way soon.
