Postbox 3 Adds Gmail Labels And Dropbox Attachments

Windows/Mac: Postbox, the feature-filled, Thunderbird-based email client, is out with a new version boasting a number of new features, not the least of which are full support for Gmail labels and sending attachments via Dropbox public links.

Postbox has long been a great client for Gmail users given its built-in support for archiving, conversation view and Gmail-like search powers, but the latest release brings the last of the big Gmail features it was missing: labels. Now, Postbox lets you assign labels just like you do in Gmail, and will show which labels a message has applied to it in the upper right-hand corner of the conversation view. It also has support for Gmail’s Priority Inbox, Gmail keyboard shortcuts (so you don’t have to re-learn your hotkeys), Dropbox integration, and a ton more. Check out the blog post below to see everything Postbox 3 has added.

Postbox 3 is a $US10 upgrade for previous users (unless you have a lifetime licence, in which case it’s free). If you’re new to Postbox, you can grab it for $US30 (trust us, it’s worth it!). it’s available on both Windows and Mac OS X.
