Similar to Rainmeter, XWidget pulls widgets from around the web and allows you to install them quickly and easily. Just like the Mac OS X version of Dashboard, you can move them around and create new new ones. You also get a robust editing platform to tweak them any way you see fit. It’s a bit more simplified than Rainmeter, but it doesn’t take up much in the way of system resources, which is handy if you’re looking for something simple to display a few widgets at once.
