It’s easy to accumulate tons of photography accessories that’ll require you to lug a suitcase around with your point and shoot. The Quirky Pose is a neat little product that’s not only a case to protect your digital camera, but also doubles as a stand that can wrap around objects so you don’t carry one around with you.
For $US24, it’s not a bad deal since you’d spend nearly that much on both items separately. And the case, itself, is pretty good. It fits most point-and-shoots and is weather-resistant. The camera mount that’s part of the case also has a quick release function should you need a better grip for a handheld shot or just want to remove it for any reason at all. On the whole, it’s really well-thought out and clever.
The Quirky Pose is available for presale, meaning you’ll have to wait a little to get one but you can put your name in now (and remove it at any point if you change your mind). Once enough people decide to buy one, it’ll go into production, you’ll pay for it, and it’ll be shipped to your door.
