Few things are more irritating than spending time wiping down a huge bathroom mirror only to see it from another angle later and discover it’s smudged. According to Shelterpop, wearing dark clothing when cleaning mirrors and windows will make it easier to see smudges in your reflection.

Even Shelterpop admits it’s a bit silly, but logically it would work. The same streaks and smudges that you wouldn’t see unless there were something dark in the mirror to see them against would stand out clearly if you’re still standing in front of the mirror when the streak dries.
No one’s saying run out and buy black shirts just to clean your house in, but if you do have a few black t-shirts, it might be worth wearing one when you’re cleaning up.
