When we discussed how to hang art without damaging your walls, some of you suggested a Hang and Level, a useful tool that lines up a level line and punches a guide-hole for your nail or screw. If you don’t have one, the blog View Along The Way shows us how to use a paint can stirrer and a screw to get the job done.
Just press the screw through one end of the paint stirrer so it’s sticking out the other side. If you’re using picture wire to hang your art, hang the art from the flat end of the screw, and position the art where you want it on the wall, making sure it’s level. Then take the art down and press the screw through the wall to mark the hole where the final nail or screw will go.
