FileStork Lets Your Friends Share Files Directly To Your Dropbox

Filestork is a web service that lets your friends share files with you through Dropbox, even if they don’t use Dropbox themselves.

So you’re a diehard Dropbox fan, but your friends don’t want to install a completely new program just to share files with you. All you need to do is attach FileStork to your Dropbox account. By creating a new “standalone request”, you can create a unique link to send to your friends when you want them to share files with you. They can upload their files from the web, and they’ll show right up in your Dropbox folder, so you don’t even need to be around to accept them. You can even password protect your FileStork link, and limit what types of files people can drop in. Coincidentally, it’s also a nice place to stick your Dropbox referral link, to entice your friends.
