iiNet Offering Three Months Free FetchTV Trial

If you’re an iiNet customer (and many Lifehacker readers are), this might be appealing: the ISP is offering a three-month trial of its FetchTV service for existing customers, giving you a chance to sample the service before signing up for the full-scale 24-month deal.

The way the offer works is a little fiddly: you get credited back the monthly cost, and you’ll need to make sure you cancel inside the three-month window to avoid being stuck with the full-term deal. You’ll also have to pay standard prices for additional services such as pay-per-view movies. Even so, it’s a potential way to test out the FetchTV option without being stuck with a 24-month lemon contract if you don’t like it.
