Wooden cutting boards or counters can be easily stained by various foods. To get your cutting board or surface looking like new again, just use some kosher salt, lemon and baking soda.

These three common items have proven several times before to make great household cleaners. Now, the $US5 Dinners blog shows us how to use salt, lemon and baking soda to remove food stains (in this case, strawberry stains).

Basically, you just rub lemon juice and kosher salt into the stains using a cut lemon, then add some extra cleaning power with baking soda. Rinse and dry, and you should be good to go.
