EasySign Mobile Lets You Sign And Send Documents On iOS

We probably don’t have to explain why signing and faxing documents is a tedious process for people for people without a fax machine, and even for those with one, so the ability to sign digitally is really useful. EasySign Mobile is an app that takes all the work out of signing documents by letting you do it directly from any iOS device.

How It Works

All you have to do is add your documents to EasySign Mobile, which you can do easily by sending mail to the app, importing from other apps, or transferring files through iTunes. Once you’re actually in the app, you can use a whole bunch of stored information like your signature, your name, the date, etc., to quickly sign and fill out forms. Those forms can be PDFs, MS Word documents or text files. When you’re done, you just save your filled out document and can email it directly from the app.

The Downsides

EasySign Mobile is really handy, but it does come with a couple of downsides. First, it can be a little finicky when navigating through a document as you have to use arrow buttons at the bottom of the screen. Sometimes it doesn’t move to the position you’re expecting and can make navigation more complicated than it ought to be. Also, the pricing structure for EasySign Mobile is a little weird. The app is free to download but you only get to sign three documents for free. After that you have to purchase additional credits. You can buy three documents for $US1, but the next step up is five for $US2. Basically, it’s cheaper to just buy three credits twice. If you like the app and intend to use it frequently, you can buy unlimited credits for $US10. This seems kind of high, but if you compare it to the cost of a fax machine or a month of fax service it’s really not that bad.

Getting It

You can download EasySign Mobile for you iPhone, iPad or iPod touch for free in the iTunes App Store right now. It’s a hybrid app so you only need one version.
