Brightness Motion Changes Your Android Phone’s Brightness With A Quick Tilt

Android: Brightness Motion lets you brighten up your phone’s screen just by jerking it to the right or the left, so you don’t have to go digging through menus.

You probably keep your brightness pretty low whenever possible, since it kills battery so quickly — but as soon as you go outside, for example, you’ll want to turn it up. Digging through your phone’s settings to adjust the brightness all the time can get annoying, and the Power Control widget only offers you three brightness levels. Brightness Motion lets you turn your brightness up by quickly tilting (more like jerking) your phone to the right, and turn it down by tilting it to the left. You can even adjust how much the brightness turns up with each tilt, which is awesome. Check out the video to see it in action.

Brightness Motion is a free download for Android 2.1 and up. There’s also a $0.96 pro version that will let you start the app when you boot your phone.
