Add A Polaroid-Style Frame To PowerPoint Presentations

Images in PowerPoint presentations look much more effective if you give them the “Polaroid effect”. PowerPoint expert Bruce Gabrielle walks through how to do that in the video above.

As the video points out, you can get a basic effect of this type simply by using a drop shadow or one of the built-in picture styles, but the results are much better if you put a little more work into the process.     Rather than having to change the shadow colour when you change the slide bg colour, surely you could set the shadow colour to black and change the opacity to something like 50%, couldn’t you? Seems like that would be a more elegant solution.
