Flipboard Integrates Blekko Search For Finding New RSS Feeds On iPad

iPad only: Flipboard, the magazine-style RSS reader introduced last year already pulled in Google Reader and Flickr feeds. With the new integration of Blekko, Flipboard now also helps you find more feeds to import with just a simple search.

We previously mentioned Blekko’s strength as a Google alternative in narrowing down your searches.

On Flipboard, when you go to customise a section you can use Blekko search to quickly find new RSS feeds of topics you’re interested in, as well as Twitter, Facebook, and Flickr accounts to add. If you use your iPad a lot as a newsreader, this built-in search should come in really handy, since you can bypass the hassle of needing to set up the feeds in Google Reader outside of Flipboard.
