From the good ideas department: calls to crisis support service Lifeline are now entirely free for all Telstra mobile services, and also from Telstra payphones (remember them?) The initiative echoes similar schemes from Vodafone and iiNet; the more the better, we say (it would be nice if Telstra covered some of the other services its rivals offer as free calls as well).
