Remove Gum From Hair With Softened Butter

Butter is not just a fatty, delicious substance but sometimes a practical one as well. Since it’s so slippery and greasy, it can actually be helpful in removing sticky stuff — like gum.

I’m not entirely sure how people — children and adults alike — ever get chewing gum stuck in their hair, but it seems to happen frequently enough. If you or someone you know ever finds gum clinging to their precious hair, apparently you just need to soften up some butter, put it on the hair around the gum, and the gum will slide right off. You’ll also probably want to wash your hair afterwards.
