Joukuu Provides Centralised Management For Dropbox, Google Docs, Box.net

If you use multiple cloud-based backup services—specifically Dropbox, Box.net and Google Docs—managing your files and accounts just got easier. Joukuu (Windows only) is a convenient one-program manager for these services.

Currently in beta, Joukuu lets users see and work with all their files on Dropbox, Google Docs and Box.net — from their desktops and without having to jump between separate windows. You can drag and drop files between accounts, use one-click uploading of folders and files from Windows to these cloud services, and also edit documents from your desktop.

Other useful features include viewing specific types of files across these services, managing your folders on them, and creating new folders—that can be synced to your desktop.

All in all, Joukuu (which means “cloud” in Japanese) promises to simplify the way you work in the cloud. It’s available as a Lite Beta download now, but interesting to note is the company’s overview page, which lists SugarSync, RackSpace, “etc.”—making Joukuu’s potential even greater.
