Greplin’s Cloud Life Meta-Search Now Open To Everyone

Greplin Demo from greplin on Vimeo.

When you’ve got no idea where you’ve seen or saved something online, but you know it’s there, Greplin is a good place to start. It indexes your Gmail, Facebook, Dropbox and other accounts, and makes it easy to find text or files inside any of them.

We’ve previously posted about Greplin, but at first, there was a wait before you could actually activate, index, and use Greplin for searching. As of just recently, Greplin has opened the doors to anyone who wants to give it authorised access to their online accounts and search around inside.

Not every service on Greplin is free to index—business-minded services like Evernote, Basecamp and SalesForce cost $US5 per month to add on (or $US45 per year). Otherwise, it’s free to use, and you can read up on their privacy/security policies before giving them your cloud-based goods.
