Set Your Desktop To The Wallpapers We’re Currently Using

Thanks to screencasts and screenshots, we often get asked where we got our desktop pictures. So for this wallpaper roundup, we’re sharing our wallpaper with you.

Adam Pash: Retro Epcot

Adam P’s using a wallpaper called Retro Epcot by Danny Shuster, featured on Simple Desktops—my favourite wallpaper site.

Kevin Purdy: Lucky WALL-E

This photo by Brandi Korte is, as Kevin’s wife puts it, “AWWWWWwwwwww.” Kevin also recommends searching for Danbo on Flickr for some nice options.

Angus Kidman: Cleeve Abbey Tiles

Angus notes: “I like running everything maxed and I always use a notebook, so my wallpaper is very rarely visible. I took this photo of some medieval tiles at Cleeve Abbey, and it’s stuck as my wallpaper ever since.”

Whitson Gordon: Torque

Whitson uses a lot of different wallpapers, rotating frequently through a bunch of images. Torque is the wallpaper pictured above, but he also recommends Fast Burn, Dreamcatcher, Binary Affection, and Light Still Shines on the Fair.

Adam Dachis: Colour

I love just about everything you can find on Simple Desktops, but I’m currently using one called Colour by Fedor Karmanov.

Jason Fitzpatrick: The Rise of a Planet

The Rise of a Planet by taenaron is Jason’s choice, but the uses a custom crop of this image to fit his super-wise array of monitors (for a crazy resolution of 4800×900).

Arvin Dang: Galactica

Arvin likes the Galactica wallpaper by deviantART user stormmajki because it’s simple, light, and comes in sizes for desktops, laptops, and smartphones.

Aaron Martin: Nathan Drake

Aaron’s wallpaper comes from Playstation.Blog and features Nathan Drake from the recently announced Uncharted 3.

Dustin Luck: Before the Storm

Dustin recommends Before the Storm by Moodflow: “I’ve had this image as my wallpaper for 6 or 7 years. I just love how it takes me out of the every day world into a far off, tranquil world — very relaxing.” He recommends any of the wallpapers in the full gallery.
