DIY Cardboard Shelf

We’ve always been surprised at how well cardboard can produce reliable and cheap DIY projects. If you heed a bit of extra shelving, here’s how to create a fully customisable, super-cheap shelf out of cardboard.

Whether you have a very specific size space to fit or you just want to create a shelf with a cool, custom shape, you can make it out of cardboard with far less work (and money) it would take with anything else. If you’ve got some extra boxes lying around, you won’t even need to take that trip to the home hardware store — just start cutting and gluing. The main structure of the shelf is actually pretty sturdy, so as long as you can mount it on your wall without killing your security deposit, it’s a pretty easy way to add some storage space to your home.
