RedNotebook is a journaling tool that brings combines the best features of blogging software and wikis together. You can format text via keyboard shortcuts, menu commands or using wiki-style markup language. You can tag and categorise entries for easy searching. All journal entries are indexed by word content, tags and categories, you can browse word clouds constructed from all three.
RedNotebook has template creation so you can easily make a master template for your daily writing exercises or journal entries. All entries are stored as simple text, no database necessary, and can be exported as PDF, HTML, LaTeX or plain text. RedNotebook is free and available for Windows and Linux operating systems.
