iOS 4.2 Said To Perform Much Better On iPhone 3G

The iOS 4 branch of Apple’s mobile operating system is generally considered to perform pretty terribly on the iPhone 3G model — it’s why downgrading to iOS 3.1.3 became such an attractive hack. But a video from the TiPb blog shows the latest developer release of iOS 4.2 as running much better on an older iPhone — nearly at par with iOS 3 on the same device, according to the Boy Genius Report.

Multitasking and a few other advanced features are still left out, however. 3G owners, would you consider a re-upgrade to iOS 4.2?
