Convert An Old Projector Into A Camera-Based Document Scanner

Lots of us have scanners in our home nowadays, but if you don’t have one yourself (or if it’s having one of its uncooperative days), you can easily throw your camera on a projector arm and take high-quality snapshots of your documents.

Taking pictures of documents doesn’t always give you a good quality copy, but if you do it right, you can avoid the hassle of a scanner (and scan documents much faster, to boot). All you really need to do is remove the head of the projector and attach your camera to the bracket on the end.
