Group shopping site OfferMe has long offered discounts on items, based on the idea that if several thousand people purchase it at once, it can be sold for less. The site has now extended that to the services market with its newly-launched Group Serve concept.
The first offer on the site is discounted tickets for the Royal Easter Show in Sydney, with 5,000 tickets on sale at 30% below RRP. There’s some conceptual similarities with recently reviewed Ouffer, which also concentrates on services and experiences. As with most savings sites, it’s only worthwhile if you’re truly tempted by the service on offer, but it could be one to bookmark.
