Other networks are slowly gaining ground in catch-up TV, but the ABC’s iView continues to lead the field. Its latest enhancement? Closed captions for every program.
From today, all shows on iView will also include optional closed captions. That’s not big news for a lot of viewers, but a fab development for the hearing impaired and English language learners. We’ll go out on a limb and suggest no commercial network will emulate this in a hurry.
