
In the above photo Melinda, an Apartment Therapy reader, put rope lights behind her headboard to cast a warm glow up the wall and provide subdued bedroom lighting. While rope lights have a pleasant warm colour to them to begin with, the deep red colour of the walls certainly doesn’t hurt.
