Eight months after the rest of the world, BlackBerry App World has finally been made accessible to Australian users, letting BlackBerry owners browse a range of free applications for the popular device.
Unlike the US store, there’s currently no option to purchase applications and have them charged to a phone bill — only free software is on offer, but that fits nicely with the Lifehacker philosophy anyway. Users can install the AppWorld application by visting www.blackberry.com/appworld on their BlackBerry. If you spot a useful gem, share it in the comments.
