Listerine Organises Your Twitter Lists

Twitter lists are a helpful new feature for crowd-sourcing your stream, but adding contacts to new lists you create is a really clunky affair on Twitter’s web site. Webapp Listerine makes the job a whole lot easier.

Once you allow Listerine access to your Twitter account, the app churns out a scrollable display of everyone you’re following and all the lists you’ve created. To populate your lists, simply drag and drop your contacts into the lists where you want them to appear and Listerine automagically does the rest. Icons underneath each contact’s avatar let you know who’s already on one of your lists and who isn’t, so you can tell at a glance who you’ve overlooked. You can even create new follower lists right from Listerine’s interface.

What do you think of Twitter’s new list feature? Do apps like this make lists easier to manage, or is Twitter’s user interface good enough? Talk about it in the comments.
