Hackintosh Netbooks May Be Safe In 10.6.2 After All
Earlier in the week, we reported that the then-current build of Mac OS X 10.6.2 took away support for the Intel Atom processor, which could break Hackintosh netbooks. It turns out, though, that the newest build has re-enabled Atom support.
However, we’d still recommend being cautious when 10.6.2 officially rolls — don’t upgrade right when the final release comes out until you know what’s in it — but hopefully this will assuage some fears.
