Redux Creates Playlists Of Your Friends’ Links Or Videos

You’ll never have time to check out all the stuff your friends link and rave about on Facebook and Twitter, but Redux aims to offer those links up in smarter, playlist-like fashion. We’ve got 2000 invites if that sounds entertaining.

Sign into Redux and share your Twitter and Facebook networks with it, and it goes to work quickly compiling thumbnails and a wider-screen description of the page links your friends drop into their streams and status updates. Hit the “TV” link up top, and you’ll get all the video links and embeds from your friends framed into a streaming player, where you can flip to the next clip with a single click.

You can limit your “Stream” and “TV” views to just Twitter or Facebook, check out the most popular stuff other Redux users have been sharing, browse “channels” of like-minded links, and generally spiral into a lot of time-sucking sites. Then again, Redux might be just what you need to quickly look through everything your friends are sharing, pick out the one or two that look cool, and get on with whatever you’re actually supposed to be doing. Redux also offers its own recommendation (”Props”) and in-network sharing tools, though they feel a tad extraneous and unnecessary.

Wanna jump into the link-sorting, video-watching stream? Redux’s in closed beta at the moment, but we’ve been given 2000 invites to dish out at this sign-up link. Didn’t make the cut-off? You can still ask for an invite.
