IceTV Windows 7 Software Available In Beta

IceTVWin7jpg
Windows 7’s long incubation period and firm roots in Windows Vista meant that it hasn’t been marked with quite the glut of “now ready for the new OS” application releases we’ve seen with previous Windows upgrades. One exception is EPG provider IceTV, which has just rolled out a beta version of its programming software.

Existing subscribers can download the beta from the IceTV site. The company says that a final release will come out within weeks; given the challenges many Media Center users experience in getting their systems just right, you might want to hold off unless you’re happy to face some potential glitches. If you do try it out, tell us how it goes in the comments.
