Google Calendar Adds Calendar Hiding, Snooze Button

Google Calendar fans, take heart — you no longer have to see less-than-useful calendars in your sidebar list if you don’t want to, and web notifications of upcoming events can be snoozed for five minutes at a time.

They’re minor additions to Google Calendar’s functionality, but relieving additions to those who grew tired of seeing, for example, “Tasks” listed in their calendar list, even if they never intend to use Google’s own to-do system. The snooze feature is kind of helpful, if you prefer seeing your notifications in a web page.
