DIY Pedalboard With Some Help From IKEA

Whether you like IKEA or not, it’s hard to beat the prices when it comes to basic parts for construction. That’s the case in this Gorm shelf, turned guitar pedalboard hack, that will keep you rocking on the cheap.

Over at the musician’s weblog Harmony Central, there’s a whole group of people who are utilizing the Gorm sheving units from IKEA as the base for keeping their effects pedals secure without spending a lot of cash.

This stylish orange version was done by Harmony Central member Armchair Bronco and combines a hidden power bar, a few short lengths of cable and the pieces from the Gorm shelving system.

Hit up Harmony Central for directions and details, unless you’re more of a Guitar Hero type.
