Locurto wanted a way to help her son get organised for school each day and came up with a set of printable hanger tags to label outfits for each day of the week. Then, at the beginning of the week, she and her son pick out clothes for the upcoming week and hang them up with the labels.
While this system was developed for children (and children in a uniform-free environment at that), there’s no reason it can’t be applied to an adult’s wardrobe as well. Locurto’s Days of the Week tags are free to download and print. If organising for the week isn’t your thing, you can also organise your closet from left to right.
Share your system for organising your clothes in the comments.

I like the idea, but it wouldn’t work for me. Firstly, even if I bothered setting this up, I wouldn’t stick to it for very long. Secondly, what I wear largely depends on the weather and what I’m doing on the day — if either one changes, my outfit changes.
But then again, I am female. I can see something like this working for my boyfriend.

Buy undies in bulk and don’t care the colour.
Buy one type/colour of socks.
No having to match them up after the wash.
Just throw them all in a draw/bucket.
Same for T-shirts and shorts.
I never have to think

Socks black.
Only the socks have to be the one colour.
You can have others clothing pieces in any
colours you like.
I personally only have purple (Wine) colour tshirts.
Shades of brown for the cargo shorts…
