If you need some dummy text for a design project, mock up, or any other situation where fake text is needed, BlindTextGenerator has dozens of options to help you mix things up and stray from boring old Lorem ipsum.

If you’re unfamiliar with it, Lorem ipsum is an old stand in for real text when there is no real text to use in a mock up. BlindTextGenerator includes Lorem ipsum among 9 other options including mockups mimicking various writing styles—Kafka anyone?

You can specify the number of words, characters and paragraphs as well as the font family, weight, style, size, and alignment among other font-related options. You can also adjust the pixel width of the sample text area. BlindTextGenerator is a free service and requires no login.
