Adobe Education Store Offers Cheap Apps For Students

AdobeEducationStoreAdobe’s image-editing and graphic design applications are highly regarded by Lifehacker readers, but their $500+ price tags are a nasty dose of cold water in a free online apps universe. If you’re a student or teacher, the company’s recently-revamped education store offers a little hip-pocket relief.

On the site, for instance, the full version of Creative Suite 4 comes in at $599 — a major saving on the general market price of $1500 or more. To qualify, you need to submit a scanned copy of a current academic ID. Since Lifehacker is a long time out of university, I couldn’t test the store directly; if you’ve successfully purchased from it, share your tips in the comments.
