When Fried Eggs Can Be Good For You

FriedEggsThinking ahead to a leisurely Saturday breakfast? Standard dietary advice is to poach or boil your eggs rather than fry them, but one study suggests fried eggs can actually help reduce your blood pressure.

Researchers at the University of Alberta discovered that cooked eggs are an “excellent source of bioactive peptides”, which have the same effect as many commercial blood pressure medications. Fried eggs are particularly beneficial, as the high cooking temperature produces more of the peptides.
