NetNewsWire 3.2 Finalises Google Reader Integration

Mac OS X: Yesterday we told you about NetNewsWire 2.0 for the iPhone, and earlier today NNW’s Windows counterpart FeedDemon finished its Google Reader integration. Today NetNewsWire’s 3.2 Mac release completes support for Google Reader syncing, web service Instapaper and more.

(Click the image above for a closer look.)

This release isn’t all that different from the 3.2 beta that was released in July except that most of the bugs should be worked out for a more stable experience. This release also displays a small advertisement in the bottom-left corner. Users have the option to shell out $US9.95 to maintain an ad-free experience.

According to NewsGator, notable tweaks and fixes from the 3.2 beta include:

Flagged items should now be in sync with starred items (both directions).

Import OPML now works again.

You can now subscribe to authenticated feeds without crashing. Authenticated feeds are automatically excluded from Google syncing.

NetNewsWire 3.2 is a free download for Mac OS X 10.5 or higher.
