Firefox Implements WebGL For High-Powered Web Graphics

It’s only in the nightly trunk builds, and no real web application is using it, but WebGL, an open framework for web sites to utilise rich 3D graphics through OpenGL and JavaScript, has been baked into Firefox.

Check out a rough demonstration of WebGL in action above, and tell us how you’d like to see it used (browser-based Google Earth?) in the comments.
