Yellow Pages iPhone App Now Available
We don’t like the print version and it’s already available on Google, but the launch of an iPhone application for the Yellow Pages is still potentially good news for Apple mobile lovers who need a plumber.
The application uses the iPhone’s built-in GPS to localise results, handy for the inevitable pizza hunting. Since soft-launching last week, the application has been downloaded more than 30,000 times, according to developer (and Telstra subsidiary) Sensis. As a non-iPhone user, I haven’t tested the free app myself; if you have, talk up the good and the bad in the comments.
