The Ultra-Minimal Mac Desktop

Reader Ian Michael Smith’s desktop shows that you don’t need to have loads of add-ons to make a productive and attractive OS X desktop.

The desktop is a combination of:

  • Quicksilver (used to open almost everything)
  • Geektool for clock
  • Soliq Ceaser Theme (iTunes + Finder)
  • Personal Adium mod
  • Custom dock icons
  • Clean Menu Bar icons
