Opera 10 Release Candidate Firms Up Speed Boost And Features
Opera’s march toward its tenth major release, set for September 1, with a release candidate download that’s feature complete, majorly bug-fixed, and containing the tabbed browsing, Speed Dial, Turbo and Mail updates we’ve seen in previous betas.
Opera’s media server experiment, the previously toured Opera Unite, apparently won’t be included in the final release of Opera 10, but that seems like a feature that should get quite a bit of attention before final release. In the meantime, fans of the innovative browser can grab this almost-there download, which should run fine on most systems, and perhaps a bit more stable than the betas. Opera 10 RC is a free download for Windows, Mac and Linux systems.
