You can already access surf conditions tracking site Coastalwatch via the web or on your mobile phone. Now there’s an iGoogle gadget to let you seek out the perfect wave on your home page.

You can store favourite beaches in one tab of the gadget, which is a useful option if you’re trying to pick between several locations before heading out. Coastalwatch is free to use, iGoogle requires a free Google account.
